10 Things I am Thankful for this Year



I love this time of year because we can start to reflect on the year before we make it to the new year. My family and I have a tradition to go around the table on Thanksgiving and say a few things, as many as we'd like, that we are thankful for. Now that I think about it, I have never once been stumped on what to say what I'm thankful for.

Even though I have had many ups and down this year and in the past, there is always something to be thankful for as simple as being alive. I have a few things I am thankful for that I want to share with you all. Hopefully it'll help everyone reflect and maybe start a tradition like my family to go around the table and say some things they're thankful for.

1. Family

Through thick and thin they're always there for me. They give me full love and support through all of my wildest dreams.

2. Sisters

I know my sisters fall under the family category, but a sister bond is so much more. My relationship with my sisters is my favorite, they're like my soul sisters haha! They're my safe zone, the "no judge" zone..we tell each other everything!

3. Health

Fortunately my family and I are all healthy and happy.

4. College education

These past four years have been amazing, stressful, and I have doubted myself many times but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I have learned and am still learning all of the tools I will need outside of college for when I graduate in May.

5. Friends

The love and support from my friends is unbelievable. I have been through a few different groups of friends and I am thankful to have found a group of people who are true friends.

6. My family pets

Our family pets are happy and healthy. They bring joy to the house everyday.

7. Boyfriend

I appreciate my man so much. He also supports all of my wildest dreams and pushes me to go above and beyond because he wants me to succeed. He's more than I could have asked for.

8. Music

I eat, sleep and breathe music. I have been through many struggles with my own personal music but I'm pushing myself to get to where I want to be.

9. Traveling

Along with my good health, and my family, we are able to take time and travel. We create new memories and experiences with each other tat we will remember forever.

10. Blogging/YouTube

My two main hobbies have helped me with my mental health. For me, creating posts or videos, and editing is a fun escape for me. It's so fun coming up with new creative ideas and things to post about for you guys to enjoy!

Now, these things only scratch the surface of what I am thankful for but they're the biggest parts of my life. If you guys have anything you'd like to share about what you're thankful for please comment on this post.

If you're having a hard time thinking of something you're thankful for, sit down and make a list. Make a list of the pros and cons in your life and before the new year comes around, figure out ways you can help yourself to turn everything into a "pro." Also, don't ever feel afraid to ask for assistance if needed in parts of your life. Do this for yourself. These are your positive goals you need to set for yourself to be well rounded.

I will take the time myself this week to see what aspects of my life are lacking and how i can turn them around!
